Day 16: Back in good old T2 (for now)

The Egyptian tour of the Coloured Seas Trip finishes in Sharm El Sheikh on Sunday, 19th June 2011 from 19:30 in T2 Hadaba. We would like to thank our sponsors, the bike and dive clubs, the hotels and the many Egyptian people who have welcomed and assisted us with this trip. In particular we thank Martin our website designer who has dealt with the daily ‘raw material’ of text and photos, turning it all into something that looks way more professional than anything we could ever have hoped to achieve on the road. We will arrive at the popular bikers and divers bar, T2, in Aida area near Hadaba, at 19.30 pm and would like to invite anyone who has followed the trip to join us there.

The official website will continue to be updated with more detailed trip reports, reviews and listings of all the places and establishments we have visited. There simply wasn’t time to do it all while underwater, on the road or washing off the desert sand after another day on the move! There will also be news of the main trip when we are able to proceed through the Middle East to Turkey and the Black Sea. Current estimates are April or May. Prior to that, we will undertake other smaller trips involving link-ups with the new bike clubs of Egypt and Sinai’s own, Sharm Motor Club.

We will also be launching a book featuring the entire Egypt trip packed full of information and featuring much of Yann’s amazing photography. Additionally, we have taken hours of video footage on the four GoPro Hero Cameras provided by Sinai Blues Dive Centre for the trips. Once we have sat down and edited them all we will add a good selection to the site.

Finally, a very big thank you to all of you who have followed our trip. We greatly appreciate the interest you have shown so far and hope that it has entertained and informed.
